Vers
sanden rinner genom mina fingrar
mitt hopp om en bättre framtid skingrar
mina tunga tankar, som alltid slingrar
runt runt, snälla ge mig vingar

bromsa upp, kasta ankar
mörka moln, ljusa tankar
nätterna långa, dagarna korta
stjärnorna på himlen är nästan borta

marken har rasat, men nu byggs den upp igen
relationerna krasa, nu är vi en grupp igen
jag var som en trasa, men nu är jag hel igen
allt brann upp i en brasa, får aldrig bli fel igen

minnena ropar, vi gräver våra gropar
nu närmar sig slutet, ta slut på allt krutet
ny bok, nytt kapitel, ny handling, ny titel

Lång väg att gå

men kommit en bra bit på vägen
livrädd, så stor chans vi sjunker

Every day a child is crowning while their sibblings scream:

This has been going on for too many years
Collected in jars and put on a shelf

People are trying all they can to survive
